Early Childhood Intervention

Early childhood intervention refers to supports provided to infants and young children who have developmental delays, disabilities, or emerging behavioural and emotional concerns. It focuses on identifying needs early and providing targeted, evidence-informed strategies during the most important years of brain development.

The goal of early intervention is to strengthen a child’s skills in areas such as communication, behaviour, social interaction, emotional regulation, and learning, while also supporting parents and caregivers with practical strategies to use in everyday life.

Early childhood intervention can be delivered in the home, school, community, or via telehealth, depending on the child and family’s needs and preferences. By working closely with families across these environments, support is tailored to real-life situations to help build strong, lasting developmental foundations.

Counselling

Counselling at Flowerarch Therapy provides a safe and supportive space for individuals and families to explore challenges, build insight, and work toward meaningful goals. Sessions are tailored to each person’s needs and may support concerns such as stress, anxiety, life transitions, parenting, and emotional wellbeing.

We offer flexible delivery options, including face-to-face sessions, walk-and-talk therapy, and telehealth, allowing clients to choose the format that best suits their comfort, lifestyle, and preferences. This flexibility helps ensure therapy is accessible and supportive in a way that works for everyday life.
